White's 6000 PRO XL
Hi! I am somewhat new at metal detecting! Although I bought my Whites PRO 6000 XL in 2004 I havent had much time to use it. When I first bought it I took it out in my yard and started to get to know how to use it! One of the first things I found in my yard was pretty kool! It was an aluminum coin with prayer hands on one side and a saying on the other side. Altough it has no value it was a kind of kool. I am getting back into it now that I have time to use it. If anyone knows of any metaldetecting clubs in maryland please let me know. Thanks!

Welcome! To be on the east coast would be sweet. The coins are much older there than here in Colorado. Good luck and happy hunting!

go out n detect as much as you can.... the thrill is in the hunt...... don't get discouraged..... just pace yourself and keep at it.. you will find some really nice things in time...3 pieces of advice.... always get permission, always fill in your holes very well and always take your trash with you......

Happy Hunting....

Hey Mirage, You are using the same detector as I am and you will come to find that you will grow to love that machine. I don't think there is a better detector out there. I am looking forward to seeing your future posts. Chris
