I hope I've put this in the right category. Right now I'm debating buying a new machine now or wait until springtime. Before deciding I'd like to know if any of the big brands are coming out with new models?

Yep, that's about right.

If you want to wait, you should only have to wait until Dec. If there are new models coming, they are typically out by then so that they can be that years Christmas pruchase.
