Wow we just found a new site and found the Brown bess part and others from a small hunt a week or so ago. We just went back and found a nice amount of stuff in a three hour hunt. I was told the one buckle could be confederate one We have found coins ranging from late 1700 to late 1800. A bunch of items I am not quite sure what they are and if you have any input would be appreciated. That was the first cowbell I ever found, this site has a lot of iron, mainly axes, irons, and hoes. The one piece could be a slave tag, my friend can see the er on it and said it was a servant tag but I will just have to let it soak for a while to see. The one odd copper piece if very this and have no idea what that one is. Cant wait to go back and spend an entire day at the site. Any ideas on the mistery items?

That looks like a great site. The more you hunt it and get ride of the iron the better it will get. That is how sites like that have been for us. Should produce for a long time. Congrats
