Went out today for 4-5 hours, and found a very nice spot, loaded with Quartz ,and I paned out about 30 shovel's full......From different spots....No visible Gold anywhere.......
This is a nice sediment in the Creek, has about 7 Feet of Overburden, above, and must run about 50-60 Feet ,than it dives in to the water,,,,,Most likely ,it was deposited a long Time ago.Found Black Sand in every pan......
Here is some pictures.....Let me know, what you think,,,,Comments welcome......

Astrobouncer is right njust keep looking you will find some. but a word of advice before i go try if you can to dig down to bedrock or to a clay layer because the gold is always on the bottom of the creek atleast 95 % of it is.so go deep looks like a good creek. you should see the creeks i work the rocks are all about the size of base balls and when i find a big rock i get excited like i found some gold or something. but keep digging youll find what your after
