New to metal detecting Plattsburgh n.y

Hi my name is Tony i am from Plattsburgh n.y and new to metal detecting! I am looking for people in my area to learn from and possibly treasure hunt with. I have a garrett ace 250 and only metal detected at the beach and a couple of parks so far would like to go out with someone to share adventures and finds with thank you and hope to here from someone soon.
