I would like to hear The Goals This Year For All The CRH'ers.
My Goals for 2013: 5 IH cents,1,500 Wheaties,
10 V Nickels,35 Buffalos,50 War Nicks,400 Pre '57
3 Mercs,20 Rosies
1 Washington
10 90%ers,25 40%ers
I will be updating this with my finds as the year goes By.Good Luck to all this year.

What is the significance of pre-1957 nickels? I just went through my first box last night and found a lot that were pre-1957 but only kept the war nickels. Did I miss something?

I just keep them because they are old, just like the buffs...One day they will be hard to find and people will be charging a buck a piece like they do now

#1) Find a Walking Liberty half.
#2) 100 ozt silver found in the wild or, if I can't hit that goal, at least double what I've found in 2012.

240 oz, or 20oz per month. And to keep it all - not selling anything! This year earned me a $2,500 bank roll, and about 140 oz of silver in my stash. I was also afforded a tailored suit, a Garrett Ace 350, and my wife some diamond earrings. I sold about 100 oz of my finds. Basically, I would like to recreate this year, and really stack it up! - HH, Jonathan

-1 gold coin (likely from a teller score, dime hunting, or reject tray)

-3 silver proof half dollars

-100 bens
-350 90% kens
-750 40% kens
-250 troy oz total by end of the year

homeslice, best investment you can make is a tailored suit, sometimes it has an effect on the tellers. makes them afraid you have a bunch of money, and threatening to close your account is much more effective.

Those are just the early commemoratives (silver). Also, after my hard pushing, you have learned that there are no "wheat pennies," there are only "wheat cents."

What's up with you and the Panamanian Balboas? If you find any, I'll gladly pay face for them. I only found 1 this year in a bag of dimes, which was a skunk if not for that coin. It was in the last handful. I only edge checked, but this one fell out of my hand.

I found a balboa (1983) in a box of halves yesterday, it was an ender to boot otherwise I might have missed it.
