I'm wondering if anyone else has New Years resolutions or goals. I do.

Eat better

More patience with my kids

Post a little bit less on T-net. - I feel like I get a little overzealous and post finds too frequently. I also browse too much...

Goals: Hammered British Silver, 1600's spectacle buckle, and a underwater hunt.

If you have any you care to speak of, please do. I know it's a few days late but who cares...it's a long year.

Steve

Mine are the same as last year. :P

Mine are the same, aim low and avoid disappointment :laughing7:

I added a few to the list this year though...

#1. Don't go to one of Hugh Heffner's pool parties.
#2. Quit eating so good.
#3. Smoke more.
#4. Stop working out.
#5. Walk less.
#6. Work less.
#7. Make less money.
#8. Metal detect less.
#9. Gain weight.

And finally my tenth addition to the list from last year... (amendments)

#10. Give up on finding the holy grail... Arc of the Covenant... and find the nails from the holy cross. (only in pinpoint mode only).

NOW... I know you all are wondering... These all "backwards"...
See...
I figured I failed before...
So this time...
I will try "reverse psychology" on myself.

:P

Try to live a more balanced life. :icon_sunny:

I need to learn to enjoy things without always going "all in" :icon_salut: like when it comes this obsession :metaldetector:.

I used to be a workaholic without a hobby, now I am a coin shooter (hobby-holic) that has a day job.

GL to everyone on your resolutions and here's to a great 2016 :occasion14:

Try to get through life without hurting someone. ( hard sometimes)

Like I told my boss today, in his office after work, before clocking out...
"My goal for 2016 is to make more,($), work less, and so if that's all?...There is a sidewalk about to be poured on Alcazar Ave.... Gotta go beep it, so good nite".

I'm going to bring about world peace. If that fails, world domination.

My wish for the year - just see the next one :)

It's mine but not my decision on if it gets saved or it comes down as it was a purchased barn for the purpose of recycling the wood timbers and board. It's getting to the point I have 8-16ft screw jack posts to support the structure while I work in and around it. it's a fact of life of a barn if the roof leaks-barn will go eventually- once the animals are moved out the stone foundations will be pushed apart from the frost damage and the barn starts to come down.

Detected the area in front of the barn, 0-2" of soil and nothing to even remember for finds.

do not want to hi jack the thread. but i understand. you are correct. the life of a barn is it's roof.
I worked all summer restoring a barn that was built in the 1700's. the owner had close to $40,000 in material and labor
and the roof was not touched.
