I had a 4 day weekend and was able to relic hunt all 4 days which is something I haven't done in years. Friday was a bust so Saturday went looking for shells with not much luck. Did manage to find a couple of frags and 4 shot bullet. Sunday we found a small camp that was associated with the battle site and spent the rest of the day and Monday hunting the small camp. It was fun digging dropped bullets again. Wasn't much brass but I am not complaining. I did manage to find a large lock plate at the camp and we also dug some shot bullets along with the drops. It was fun to be able to hunt for 4 days straight and my body was able to handle it so maybe I'm not as old and out of shape as I thought I was. Thanks for looking and good luck if you are able to get out. James

very nice finds, really like the lockplate and than the hard seated bullet. it could be some very stressfull moments trying to ram a half seized bullet in a skirmish.
