Detector(s) used
White's Eagle II, Ace 250's (2), Cobra Beach Magnet
I’ve always been fascinated with MDing mostly for the historical aspect of the junk dug up. I bought a Cobra Beach Magnet to go with the hobby of snorkeling. Then after digging many old rusty nail in the yard, I discovered TreasureNet! I got to studying who uses which detector and “bought my wife” an Ace 250. LOVE IT! Anyway, started hitting local parks to learn the Ace. Found $2.58 in coins, nothing old. Did find a nice .925 ring. Found like item on E-Bay for $10.00. Still a thrill though. Found a kiddie butterfly with 3 remaining “diamonds” which I’m sure are real <grin>. A fish sinker drop, half of a pair of glasses, old fish lure and a little live .22 ammo, a brass cap widget. Nothing great but a good first start. Wife and I are excited enough to plan a trip to Biloxi within the next couple of weeks to try some surf MDing.

Finding live ammo in a local park would make me wonder about my neighborhood, but looks like a great hunt otherwise! :)

We live waaaay out in the boonies so .22 ammo is very common.....

I actually found .22 ammo on the sidewalk the other day and a rifle in my pantry, so can't say much. Was really just joking around. :)

Congrats on some great hunting! I'm itching to get out with my ACE 250 again soon. They're a lot of fun and easy to get the hang of. When you get to the beach, turn the sensitivity way down over the wet sand or you'll be digging a lot of phantom signals. I look forward to seeing what you dig up next!
