This is my fourth KGII and by far my best.. 2 of the other 3 are toast, and the third had a nice patina, but it's a smoothie.. If not for the rain, I'd still be there :laughing7: ... Jeff

Congrats on your finds Jeff :icon_thumright: Hey, did I read your post right where you said that you're going to be leaving the area? :icon_scratch: Man if I had the finds that you've been having of late, I'd never want to leave! ;D

Yep, Navy and new orders, so I'll be headed out soon... Talked to the detailer on Friday and he said the orders should be ready to view in a week or two, so not much time left here.. I'm almost certain I'll be back in this area someday :icon_thumleft:

I've dug a lot of King George's and that's as good as they get :headbang:

Thanks Steve! Seen a bunch posted on here and I've seen a few that looked better but I am very happy with this one :headbang: This small area seems to preserve the finds so well. 200 yards from where I dug it, Josh dug a VA halfpenny that looks even better than this coin.

Sweet find Jeff. Good luck where ever you go. Sorry we never got together for a hunt after running into you out younder as I kind of hung up the detector for a few months for other persuits.

I'm sure you're going to tear it up at your next stop.

Now get on out of here and leave some loot for me :laughing7: :laughing7:

Gosh 1753!! Amazing. Just amazing. I think I better move back east before I go crazy over here. :D
