Nice little Agee type

Afternoon,

Found this little beauty in the water....thought at first it was just a chip. It really looks much nicer in person than scanned. Not to often you find a point with a tip that fragile still in tact.

That's an awesome point, I don't think I've seen one shaped like that on here! Amazing the tip is still there!

Afternoon,

Yep...check the point type Agee. They are pretty rare...come in various sizes. My little one is on the small size. Many come from Arkansas. They are one of the most exquisite points made..especially the larger specimens. One variant of Agee from Louisiana has a "fish tail" or split base rather than a dovetail.
