Nice variety of coins today

Went to my little grassy strip that keeps on giving, and wound up with a nice variety of types and dates.
Got 3 wheaties 1942, 45 & 46. Found an IHP 1895. A 1943 Merc, and a 1939 Wahington Quarter. A dateless Buff also popped out of the ground.
Nice how the silver comes out of the ground as good as the day it was dropped.
All coins were found in the 3-5 inch range in great digging conditions.,
I doubt if I spent half an hour finding and digging these.

Teasin on the leg. It would be the bottom half of the inside front leg missing, so keep an eye on future buffalos. Ya just never know.
Does the grass strips continue on down the street? If so, you might have a bonanza there. HH

In fact, it does.
I know that strip is public, or at least, city property, but I'd feel mighty weird digging up in front of peoples houses, specialy since theres lots of kids on the block, so I doubt if I'll get a chance to check it out much further than in front of the lot.
