Left work a little early & managed 4.5 hrs, Dad joined me just in time as I was caught in a heavy shower with just a T-shirt, crazy weather!

Found a few interesting pieces:

Tudor Button
3 Roman Coins
2 Lead Tokens
1 Rose Farthing
1902 Sixpence
Worned Vicky Sixpence
Cloth Seal
17th C Oval Buckle
14th C Buckle
Good watch winder
Nice early looking thimble

At least there is still some silver left I was being to think that the hammered hoover had picked out all the hammered but with the 2 sixpences, there must still be a chance of more...

its my dream as well, taken years to find & gain permision to fields like this Its just that after finding, lets say 50 Rose Farthings, the excitement wains a little, although any in real great condition makes for a better day.
