Sunday I headed out for Iowa as my dear mother had passed after living 96 years. God rest her soul is all I can feel, as she had lived a very full life though many trails and tribulations that have come and gone in the world we live. I'm am so grateful to have been her son and under her guidance through all of my years and she will for ever remain in my heart. So it was last Sunday I took off from the Denver area at 3: pm and drove all the way from there to North Platte, Neb. doing an average 75/80 mpr. Boy did the weather turn for the worst when I got up in Nebraska as there was snow covered roads for all 412 miles of driving. This has to be one of the largest and most wide spread snow storm I have ever gone through.

My condolences Grant! Be careful on those roads.

Sorry for your loss tamrock. It makes it a lot easier knowing you had a good and loving relationship with your Mom.

Grant, my sincere condolences. At 96 she must have lived a hellofa
life, and seen an awful lot. Wish we could have them around forever.

Lost my mom back in '04, she would have been 92 today.

As for the road, that section from N. Platte all the way across Iowa
can be a real nightmare in bad weather. Road ices up, add in a strong
crosswind and driving gets treacherous.

My condolences to you Grant and your family.
Be safe on your return trip.

Condolences to you tamrock. 96? She had a real good run. My mom is 89 and I'll be walking in your shoes before long. Regards, Gary

Aw man, sorry to hear about your Mom.
