Here's my finds from Sunday. I went to a park that has a creek behind it..the creek I know has old bottles as I've been there in the past. Didn't find much in the park with the detector, just some clad and the copper thing? Looks almost like a switchplate or something? The park was PACKED full of people so I decided to go into the woods and walk along the creek. I saw a couple bottles sticking out of the embankment, pulled them out and kinda dug into the embankment some. I ended up with all the bottles you see in the pics. I have a pretty decent collection of bottles going on!
I found an ink bottle with old ink still in it...it's all dried up, anyone have any idea on how to get the ink out? I LOVE the 2 tiny bottles...any idea what they might be for? Anymore info. on the bottles would be appreciated...thanks!

Maybe no silver to fill your pocket but those bottles could be worth some bills...check it out.

I think the bottles are from the 1920 or 30,s That may be a stove or shoe polish bottle. Try soaking it in Hot soupie water and if that dosn,t work.Try C L R You can find it at Kmart or any hardware store.

nice bottles, I think i have some of the small bottles, but not sure what was in them. you might try acid if you want to clean the ink bottle, but I might leave it in there. whats on the front of the brown bottles?

Nice collection of bottles. Sure does beat using a probe trying to find old outhouses. I agree with bottles10. It is not an ink but a stove black or shoe polish.

Great haul on the bottles. I agree, it looks to be from the 20's and 30's. Way to go!

Way to go Bill! Nice bottles. I'm still digging the old cellar hole near my house and I've pulled over 500 bottles out of there so far (so much for no garbage men back then) ;D. Stay in touch if ya wanna hit the fields.....weekdays are probably better now that the kid's sports have begun. See ya!

Thanks for the responses all. I'll probably be going back this coming weekend to hunt for more bottles...it seems as though the area where I find them was a LARGE dump and I probably can find a pretty much unlimited amout of them.
The two brown bottles say:

-Hoster- Columbus

The other one says:

The Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. Cincinnati O.

Cool bottles, MF!

They look like they're in great shape.

Thanks for sharing.
