Not really old, but a first for me...

[Baggins]

Looked like rain all day, so I decided to hunt my back yard again...did it with my old Bounty Hunter Tracker IV about a year ago, but decided to give the X-Terra 70 a spin...only hunted for about 30 mins....found four memorial pennies, a quarter, an odd matchbox type car, and this, my first dog tag..it is from 1988, so it isn't very old, but it is a first for me!
As always, thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

I think dog tags are great finds. I have found a few that are fairly new but I still keep them. Fun finds!

Baggins,
Way to go on the tag. I've got quite a few with the oldest being a 1947.
There was a post earlier where members showed the tags they had found. Some dated into the 1800's.
I was truly amazed.
Congrats,
MM

First of anything are always fun! Being new to this hobby, I continue to enjoy my firsts. Still looking for a dog tag. WTG!
