Haven't been out too much lately been busy. I went out for an hour or so to an old road that came into town. The woods are really bad from an ice storm a few years but I managed some clad and this button. 5 on the front and nothing on the back. Any info on this? Thanks

5th Continental Regiment.....Later known as the 1st New Hampshire. From what I have read, saw action in the capture of Fort Ticonderoga, under the command of Ethan Allen, and the Saratoga campaign under John Stark. This would put them at the Battle of Bennington, where we kicked some serious British and Hessian butt!! Pretty interesting reading about this regiment.
