Hello,

Figured I would make a blog to post my shenanigans to the world. I search through all denominations of american coinage, and am looking for interesting coins to add to my collection. I will keep this updated to the best of my ability!

HH

As the first sort of official post, I would formally like to tell you guys about my first two boxes of quarters. SKUNK and SKUNK. No keepers, and man that was disappointing... oh well!

In the meantime (bank is closed today), I will tell you guys a little about my CRH history. I started in late 2014, as I have been a coin collector for about 10 years. I love the hobby and CRH has been a passion ever since I found my first silver Roosevelt dime in my pocket change from Safeway that year. I have gone through several boxes of coins, and recently amped up the number of boxes and the variety of coins in an effort to find as many cool old coins as I can.

Since I started CRH-ing, here are my finds:

11 wheat cents
2 Buffalo Nickels (1926 and no date)
4 1930s Jefferson Nickels
5 Silver war nickels
4 silver rosies
3 silver quarters
1 Olympic half dollar coin
1 Proof (1984 nickel)

hopefully many more neat stuff to come!

Sorted through $600 in quarters and about $400 in dimes. Ended up with one silver dime 1952-s

Been $1820 since my last silver quarter, so hopefully that changes :/ ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1465927894.883298.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1465927937.100933.jpg

Got $32 of customer wrapped rolls. 4 rolls were marked "LINDA" and contained almost entirely 1996D nickels in MS68 condition. Also nabbed a 1943S war nickel- good day so far, more updates later

Searched through a box of halves. Found 3 40%ers in pretty good shape! Silver quarter skunk streak continues as I've now hit $2500 since my last silver quarter

Went in to BofA today. My favorite teller had started saving me really old bills. She ended up saving a 1974 20$ bill, as well as 3 sets of 3 sequential 5$ bills. Years were 1977A, 1981, and 1981. Pretty sweet stuff!!! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1468294041.934181.jpg

Picked up 1 roll of halves today, as well as 7 dollars worth of teller tray halves. Ended up with 1 1968d, as well as two "gold proofed" halves. These seem to be encased in some sort of bubble like thing, and I've never seen it before! Very interesting. Went through $70 of a $100 box of nickels, and so far, the only keeper was a 2005s buffalo proof. All is well, HH everyone.
