Nov. 10,11 and 12 not much to show but I love this hobby

Hi all,
I was fortunate to get out this weekend a few hours each of the last few days. The 10th and 11th were spent in a local park, I am still new and learning what my Fisher 1280x is telling me. My pinpointing skills are improving greatly, many times I am getting the object in the pulled plug.
On the 12th my wife suggested a different park, it paid off well. I had my best day yet, I also found my first nickel.
One question though, for anyone else with a 1280x I am not hearing different tones as they state in the manual. Are the tones that slight? Or can I have a problem?

I had to detect for over two months before I found my first key. Looks like you are doing well with your machine. Keep at it.
