Hello friends, I have a Bounty Hunter IV, I as given as a gift. I have used it a bit and really enjoy the fishing/hunting part ! I have not gotten very effective in the finding part. I have found coins in my front yard old engine parts, and I have also taken it to the beach,, using it near the wash of the waves always puts out a signal? I am considering an upgrade,, and welcome your thoughts and experience

Thanks

I too have a Bounty Hunter and would like to hunt in the wet sand and salt water. So I have been investigating the options.
It seems that the options are a PI machine like the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II (or other brands/models) or a multi-freq VLF like the CZ 21 from Fisher Labs.
Many people are saying that Garrett AT Pro works in salt water and even in black sand. But the technology is still a single freq. VLF so I am a bit cautious about it.

I suggest you also do a lot of reading and watching You Tube videos before buying There are many options.
