Nox 800 in hunted out site

This place as been hit by thousands for decades. Last week I pulled out an 1845 1/2 Franc, today more great finds in only 2 hours!
I'll let the pictures do the talking. Too bad the walker was in that crushed rock soil. It would have been really nice in regular soil. I think the ring is older too. Ya, no big coppers haha but I'm in California!

Wow. You have to be happy with that half and ring. Those are some real beauties. The fast recovery time on the Nox certainly appears to have opened up some new opportunities. Good on Minelab for realizing the future probably lies more with finding masked targets than targets 2 feet deep.

Were most of these in the hole with a lower tone item (nail, pull tab, etc.)?

Recovery time and multi frequency I would say. Yes they were found in trashy areas loaded with pull tabs, pull rings, squished aluminum bottle caps, nails, wire, cen slaw and lots of foil. Its picnic areas sooo....

Its fast, I can go through garbage and her that quick chirp then go over it and fish the signal outtake the bad ones. I've been hunting in all metal mode a lot too. When I start hitting a lot of iron I then slow down and really go through it.

Low and slow got me a half dime in a small area I would have sworn I cleaned out. I tried low a slow which is VERY hard for me because I love making up ground, but this area was so small I decided to try it and it squeaked it out at 8”. AMAZING

That is quite a nice variety of finds. I have also been revisiting places with my 800, and finding some nice deep coins. It is a good detector.

Hi Nick79 and thank you for sharing your experience with this new machine as it helps others to understand what is available. It should also help other detector
companies Improve their machines to do even better than the Nox 800 (fingers crossed, as for sure Minelab has thrown the glove down for others to catch up if they can.
