Obsidian or ??

I found this digging a koi pond in WNC few air bubbles and cleaves off like volcanic glass obsidian and one side has a crustacean like shell.

Obsidian is usually black. That looks like a piece of ceramic or pottery. Just a guess.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Color is dark green to dark brown and black, also can show sheens of gold or green, yellow, blue and/or purple coloration. Sometimes with white inclusions (Snowflake Obsidian).
