I apologize in advance for no scale reference, hope to follow up with a reference shortly. Measurements are approximately 30" x 40", found in central Kentucky. Rock type unknown. Any suggestions?

Solved! All I had to do was browse a few posts in here for the answer lol. Thanks to Red-Coat's previous reply to a post, I'm certain this is "carpet rock".
