Anybody know anything about metal detecting in St. Maarten? Anybody ever take their detecter on an airplane?

Don't know about st marten, but you can take a detector on the airline. I suggest you put the coil and electronics in a carry on bad, and put your poles and diggers in your checked bag.

Take mine to Fl all the time, carry on. Also took it to Aruba no problem.
