Saran wrap where are thou? Detected a neighbors yard some the other day, evidently someone believed in eating their sandwiches outside pre-saran wrap times. Dug enough aluminum foil to fill my pouch, really hard to find any nickel type items

4_29_2013 copy and todays finds.webp

Got some clad and a few keys, a few older type relics. Then went and roamed around a bit got a "Slamming" hit out in the field. Dug a while and some round clod popped out. Hmm it is some kind of coin like thing pretty big, maybe a token? Went to wash it and saw I had some cereal prize coin of some sort.

I took one of those scrub pads to it. Seems to be made of brass looks more "Golden" now he-he. Maybe will deposit it in the kiddies sand-box at the public park after some more sanding!

Tanks for looking at my Clunka-Junka!

I empathize with you on the foil! The one yard I like to tinker in is just lousy with the stuff! And of course in the one section a mower or something must have hit it cuz it is tiny pieces all over. I just know tho if I don't dig it all up I will miss something =P
Nice bunch of finds you have there! That coin is cool even if it is a copy, I would still be enjoying it =)

Yeah it reminds me of the cartoon character that says "Curses foiled again!"
