I wanted to add to the list of things to bring along:

Who's packed? Got all my diggers sharpened & they're packed, detectors are broken down & ready to go, fresh batteries installed in detectors & pin pointers. Few odd & end things left to do yet, will be picking up king cakes tomorrow evening. Just hate to think of the 8+ hours of driving just to get there. I'm prepared for the cold nights. LOL!

To be on the safe side double check the "Don't Forget To Bring" list!

RR, packed? It is only Weds. Let's see leaving 7 a.m. Friday will start packing at 6 after breakfast. Got about 8 hrs to drive my ownself. My honey is driving in from NJ tomorrow and then we're good to go! Little disappointed, bought a Blisstool in hopes of breaking it in down at the fort BUT it isn't going to make it in time. Oh well another day another hunt...Ghost Sovereign is a great machine. I used the Elite for a long time, actually just recently sold it to a friend. Don't get to the beach much anymore and the XP Deus seems to work alright when I do go.
