Officially on the board for 2017!

Today was a cold wet muddy day that I wasn't even going to go out, but this morning after seeing everyone's 1st posts of 2017 I just had to get out. I went to a place I haven't been to in a while but every time I go I usually get one or 2 wheats. I worked a front section along the road that I've never done for some reason. 5 minutes in I had my 1st wheat of the year. 4 more wheats later I pulled my 1st 2017 silver, a 64 roosie!, kept working back and forth, side to side and pulled 2 more wheats and then silver #2 a 1944 Canadian dime! Ended up with 12 wheats and 2 silver coins along with 3 clad coins. What a great 2017 start, hoping for much more of the same! Thanks for looking and hh!

Yeah. I havent been out this year yet. But plan to hit an old school yard that was blown away in the 05 twister. School dates back to the 50's I believe. At least the original one did. I live digging out here. Carthage is probably the best digging I've ever done. Lots of cw stuff

Congrats on the silver! I worked one section of a Baltimore park that had a wheat to silver ratio of 30 to 1. You smashed that ratio!

Thanks mcdig!, I guess I have about a 6 to 1 ratio there. That tiny little park alwas gives me at least 1 or 2 wheats
