Tonight was my one night a week hunt night so I talked Baldingboy into going back to a home we found some silver at two weeks ago. He didn't want to go because he is playing Mr. Mom this week but I twisted his arm and he agreed.

I had one heck of a night. Found three silvers! A 53 quarter in pretty good shape, a 1917 merc that I scratched, no the big ding was already in it when I got it out of the ground, and a 42 merc! Then I got a wierd signal and I dug down 8 inches and out popped the Buffalo Nickel!!!!! NO date but who cares!

I also found two wheats a 1917 in bad shape and a 1929. The pocket knife was about 5 inches deep.

I found some more stuff including a small button that I think went to a fancy shirt of some kind??? Several shell casings and some other stuff.

I also dug the Biggest piece of lead I have ever dug! It was about 3 inches deep on edge and the Beast kept screaming silver. I put the quarter on top for size reference. I also found some melted copper which is a first for me.

At 8 BB told me he had to leave so we started heading for the cars. I got one more good signal and dug the 1953 rabies tag! I had just found my first tag on Saturday so it was weird to find two so close together.

I have been have some good luck lately but I also dug over 80 signals tonight in about 3 and a half hours. The place is huge and we are going to go back soon.

Thanks for looking!

WC thanks! You can ask anyone who has detected with me when I'm in the ZONE that I dig like a mad man!

Hey you never know what's going to pop out of the ground next........ :D

Great finds! Your on a roll, keep at it while your hot!

Wow, you're just rakin' it in! Maybe that little good luck dance in the tutu did its job after all. ;D

Very cool finds. Hope your knees feel ok after all that kneeling.

I guess you'll be going back there a few more times, eh? lol

Larry, that's a lot of items you dug up there. It sure makes me happy to see you pulling those old coins/relics from high trash/iron areas. You're understanding the Beast better, and it shows. I'd say if you're in an area where there's lots of iron trash, your Ferrous setting will give you great results. In areas where there's an abundance of low conductors(aluminum, foil, pull tabs, ring tabs, etc), Conduct will be more advantageous.

Congrats to you. Your dedication and love for the hobby has made you a better md'er with the Beast.

Ok for the record, I never had any of the shine.

I rubbed Nana's shirt, on her belly! I wouldn't want Charlie to hunt me down and kill me!

I keep the zipper pull in my car.

Ros was very nice to travel with. She is fun!!!

I still have the TuTu. I wear it around the house the night before a hunt!

Yes definitely good times!

too late...it will haunt you forever now! rofl
