Well, I predicted it at the beginning of the year that oil would hit $36/bbl by the end of the year. There were many that said it would never see that figure again. Well It hit $36/bbl briefly and is now at $ 37. I am now looking for under $2 at the pump locally. it is now just over $2 here in MD. Now when diesel, goes below $2 a gal, I am nearly ready for my next cache expedition in the MH. My last trip out west hit me hard at $4 a gal. The MH gets 14 MPG on the road, but it also provides my lodging and meals so it is a win situation. Frank

Frank,

Well the OPEC crowd just agreed to no cap whatsoever on production so that should keep it low for quite a bit yet.

Good for consumers but the oil patch crowd are hurting big time.

Regards + HH

Bill

$1.90 to $2 is pretty common here in Colorado. Even Denver is barely at $2.20 near downtown. Hope it stays...I'll kick one of my kids out so it can have a room.

1.77 this morning on my drive to work. Michigan

Unleaded is $1.66 and Diesel is $1.89 here over by Tulsa, Oklahoma.

$2.19 in my area $2.29 in Pittsburgh

$1.73 here near Indy. So I'm drinking more..

I was supposed to have work all winter in the bakken , but with oil so low both big projects have been postponed do to heating cost. It's a double edged sword. I'm probably in the minority, but I would rather pay more for fuel and make a paycheck. We are fairly close to ND so a large portion of people that live here depend on those jobs.
