Ok, 1 more time. But that's it! Dagnab it!!

That's it! I simply refuse to do any more! I am NOT going to hunt anymore until next year!!

Was kinda nippy out there today, ya know?

Still, not too bad:

Had this one, and then, not 2 feet away!

I was worried about going today because I didn't want to end the year
on a skunked trip. Guess I can rest easy now.

So, that's it folks! The 2014 season is at an end, (for me anyway).

From Blingie, Fishy and I, a wish for next year to be the happiest one you ever had, just not as happy as the next one.

Wait just a minute -- as I type this, it's only 11 pm New Year's Eve night on your East Coast USA. You've got a whole hour left before the clock strikes midnight to end year 2014! Plenty of time to get out there with headlamp to dig one more groovy item! Go, go, go! :laughing7:

There is always a silver (ring) lining at the end of every year...way to go WHADI! Do you ever wonder about "ring spills?" I think they were in someone's pocket who was playing and they hit the ground hard, jewelry dumping and flying everywhere! Or, aliens stripped them off of their victim's fingers before abducting them...Happy New Year's hunting, we always enjoy your posts. Sub 8-)

And here's a tip for you. Carry an extra one of those hand warmer packs with you. When you find a target frozen in, just park the spot with that and look for another signal. Then, come back to the first one and the ground will be all thawed for you to dig. (L O L !!!)

Nice last minute digging!

The weather channel said 50 degree day on Sunday; hope it is not an early April fool’s joke! I think tomorrow a trip in the woods is in order, digging should still be possible.
