OK, You found a dead body in the woods.

Well I am actively looking for a dead body, one from the War of 1812 and I hope I will find him. When I do, I going mark it and pay tribute to a fellow fallen soldier. After I call the ME.
ive done some researching and come to find out the courthouse near me was built soldiers of the war of 1812's grave yard. They moved the graves to the front and did not mark them. No markers anywhere saying these soldiers of the war of 1812 are buried here. It's sad. I've been telling a lot of people and it has been confirmed through old historical records now. So it's time we mark this site and pay respect to these soldiers who gave all for thier country in the war of 1812.

Sandman your thread seems to have a life of it's own! Lol!
See what happens when you get bored, next time ask what we'd all do with a pirates chest of gold if we found one!

When a young man I found a skull of a dog sticking out of a cliff side in a New England cove. I was bitten there and never stopped looking down. If you wonder and look down, you will find many things. I hope you never come across a dead body, its not something you want in your head. I cant imagine the fear if one was under water and found a dead body. How do you do it sandman, not freak out under water?

You could always randomly run your coil over the women on the beach. If that's too forward, bring your pinpointer! Better yet, invest in a VibraProbe lol

Just curious Sandman, as of March 07, how many "likes" has this thread (not comments) gotten?
Would like to know. Thanks!

BUDDY AND I WERE FEET AWAY FROM A MURDERED WOMAN THAT WAS LEFT IN THE WOODS NEAR FARM FIELD WE HIT - A FEW DAYS LATER SHE WAS FOUND AND WHEN I SAW NEWS CREWS SHOWING THE AREA - WE WERE PARKED NOT FAR FROM WHERE SHE WAS - I WATER HUNT MOSTLY NOW AND KEEP THINKING ABOUT IF I CAME UPON A BODY ON THE BOTTOM - HOPE I NEVER DO

Having grown up near the delaware river and estimating that by the time I was 18 I had fished over 10,000 hours I have seen a few bodies pulled from the water. One time the cops came down and made me stop fishing so they could pull a corpse from the water. I just happened to be standing there rubber necking when I wound up on the front page of the newspaper.

The last time I found a dead body it was in a local picnic area, he didn't have any jewelery on but he did have a nearly full can of beer in his hand. The guy's mouth was shut so I ran the coil over it and got the best mid-range gold signal ever, has got to be a gold tooth I thought, no way it's not gold! Then upon prying his teeth apart I found the poor guy had choked on a pull tab. :tongue1:

You know I really hate myself for this kind of thing, but I just can't resist.

Too funny!:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

So Austex is it true that killers often return to the scene of the crime.?

Passed by this in the woods today. I didn't pull off the sleeping bag so I don't know what was under it. Seemed like it was just a pile of junk.

I would have at least poked it with a stick.
