I found this old coin back in June, I'm almost sure it's a young head 1655-1658 Louis XIV Liard with an "I" mintmark, but I would like a second opinion. It has been soaking in olive oil since June, and was put back in right after taking these photos.

You nailed it. Cool find! I doubt it' s the "L" reverse type though as that would be a very rare pattern type.

The mint mark also looks like it could be Nantes (T) but it's not, because you're right, it is the young head, and the only listing for Nantes is 1697 (old head).

It looks to be an a "i" mintmark, are there any years in the 1655-1658 time period, that they did not make the "i" mint liards?

Book lists all of those years so anything outside of that would probably be fairly rare. The 55 is more scarce and books higher, so odds are your coin is one of the other three years.
