Was found in about 3 feet of water, rocky bottom, in a lake where there used to be a resort. Does anyone have any more specific clues as far as dating or what it may have been off of?

To me the locking mechanism is on the side, like to a door that swings open not a lid latch?? But it looks old,

Sorry, no info, but very cool find!

Victorian era cabinet lock.

Best Wishes,

Buck

I would agree, Looks late Victorian.

Thanks guys! My first relic! Woohoo! Will have to go over the area again to find some more parts. Found a pin nearby of like material but it wouldnt fit anywhere on the lock
