Old Dog Tag???

[Diggin Canada]

I just wanted to see if anyone knows what this find is. It says "C.I.Y" or "C.L.Y" at the top, then a number followed by "Toronto" and "1914". I have been told that it may be a dog tag so I just wanted to make sure. Any advice is appreciated.

You are probably right, looks like a dog tag to me, attached to the buckle for the dog's collar.

Perhaps, post that on the token & tags forum - "Got old dog tags" thread? - Odd Coins will certainly give you a reliable reply. Cool find for sure! Good luck.
