Just popped this beauty in one of my colonial farm fields near where I dug a half real last Fall. Rang up as a 9 on the Equinox. Pretty sure its got some age to it but I have no idea really. Possibly early 19th century or older. Any info appreciated

Interesting construction on that one. Haven't seen that style before.
But no doubt it has some age....and it's GOLD!!!

In my limited research online, I cant find anything similar either. I have not found anything other than farmer/hunter dropped canslaw in this field that is much newer than the circa 1783 house nearby. There is a house across the street that is newer but I havn't found anything associated with it so I think its safe to assume the link is circa 1800 until anyone can tell me otherwise. Now what I want to know is why anyone would wear gold cufflinks while tending crops. LOL

There sure isn't any mistaking gold....nice find and thanks for sharing!
