Old initial pin/broach

Just getting back out now that fall is hitting. Found this yesterday in the yard of a 1700's house. Any thoughts on age?

93 - That's a cool letter pin you've found. Can't give you a date but it's definitely a pin - the pin shank would have been mounted on the right side (in the pic) and the point would have tucked under the piece on the left. Any idea what it's made from?

Nice Find!
Look like very old copper and I'd guess from the 1700's, but I'm no expert.
I'd have guessed that even if you didn't post the age of the property you hunted.
