Old Iron Cannon's

Today, why out for a quad ride, I came across a worker in our community, working on 5 very old Iron Cannon's. The Community decided to dig them out of the ground and build displays for people to see. I happen to have my camera with me and noticed that one of the cannon has marking on it. I was wondering if anyone could help me in finding out where the cannon's came from, the year they were made.

What fort are they near? What time period is the fort from? That will answer many questions I think.

Fort Point was established in 1748 by the British in order to protect the mercantile assets that had been established in Trinity, Newfoundland. The Fort was destroyed in 1762 by the French during a take over of the Town, however was rebuilt in 1812.
Thank you, I never thought of checking the history of the local fort.
