old knob?

I was searching in my backyard today, well a few minutes ago and i got a reading of 25cents about 8 in deep so i dig it up and i get this sphereical metal object with a hole on top to insert a screw. It looks alot like an old knob for a cabnit or something, ill post pics later today right now i just want to get out there again and see if i find anyhting else.
