Hello there, I am new to this site and I hope that I am doing this correctly. I used to dig up old outhouses with my grandfather and this is one of the things we dug up in PA. I had did some looking online and I believe it is a liquor bottle of some sorts and maybe from the Glenshaw bottle company. It is a neat shape and easy to handle. Marked on bottom with a raised number 1625 and 19 G in a square then the number 45 (1945?). The side says Federal law prohibits the sale or reuse of on one side and 4 / 5 on the other.... anyone have a clue? Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

It's a neat shaped bottle. I can't say I've seen that shape before. With the screw on lid, I'd say it isn't very old. JMO. Good luck.

Not an old bottle, made after prohibition, But I can tell you what it held. It was a Creme de menth bottle I found one from the 1890's under a bar in Wyoming, with the label & contents, same exact shape, and a cork stopper.

Thank you fellow treasurenet friends. I now have some clues to research! Michele

Past prohobition.. not sure on the value. Nice find.

If that glass company uses the same stamp as OI glass company it was made in 1945
