Got out to South Carolina with Carolina Tom and had a good couple days. Here are my better finds. Any idea on the old button? It has a screw back, but otherwise looks very old. We also found many musket balls at one location.

I'm thinking along the same lines as Cru, possibly a shoulder tab or collar stud. :icon_scratch:

How old do you think it is... nice find,
Dave

Did Carolina Tom find anything out there or is he keeping his head down and his mouth shut? :laughing7:

I found some stuff smarty pants, and I didnโ€™t keep my mouth shut, you know better than that.

I had a great time Bergie. Thanks for the invite brother.

Congrats on the finds.

Congrats on the finds.

:laughing7: Couldn't resist. I was expecting to see a post from you with several silver coins and the obligatory Bergie roast comment.

Ha! I neglected to thank Carolina Tom here for playing Santa and giving me a much needed pouch and hand digger (I was taking the shovel to everything). Iโ€™m sure he wanted a chance to be invited back by the land owner by encourage more responsible Bergie digging in addition to being a great dude. Thanks Santa!
