Old new or what?

I found this in the Wabasso area. Looks like it is plated. Silver in color (photos look gold) (I wish). Looks kind of old but not sure. Any ideas?

That looks like it could be from the 1715 fleet or earlier? I would have someone from Mel Fishers group look at it or someone else that is a authority on that. Could be a real emerald? I remember someone finding a cross similar to that with a missing stone and they determined it was from the fleet. Nice find. Keep us posted if you do any research on it....
