Quarter for scale

Can top that says "please don't litter" cracked me up.

I think the little spoon looking thing is modern aluminum trash but I suppose it could be something older/pewter?

Glass with white crust seems old

Any ideas what cartridge the shell is from? Or the right way to clean it and read the head stamp?

I'll post updates if electrolysis starts to yield anything on the crusty coin. I think it's just a modern quarter because it was almost on the surface, way up a beach and this is after several hours on a 9v battery...not sure how it wasn't deeper

Odd looking piece of glass with the numbers. Usually they would be on the outside of the curve like most bottles but yours is on the inside of the curve. Curious what it was whole.

That was my first thought too but I think it's the bottom of a bottle, the decorative rope pattern curves slightly

Looks like black glass the cartridge casing looks pretty worn out. Good luck cleaning that one.👍🏻

Another hour or so of electrolysis and the crust flaked off. 2007 dime lol

Soaked cartridge case in vinegar and got it clean enough to identify. 20mmx110rb. Must have fallen from the sky!
