I found this a few weeks ago in the water at a swim beach. This place was once an amusement park at the turn of the century. I do not know if this is from the park or if the lock got in the lake another way. It was very encrusted and I cleaned it up to see what it said. Name brand is CONOY. I cannot find any information on this brand or how old it is. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Nice old lock!
It was made by the Slaymaker Lock Co. of Lancaster, PA, founded in 1888.
I'm not sure when the "Conoy" lock was introduced, but would guess that it's around 100 years old.
It lists for $10 in Arnall's book, The Padlock Collector.
