I had a friend whose wife was from england. according to her she went to a museum on a field trip while in school. they were shown a gold ring and were told that the pin pricks on its face were actualy the constellations draco the dragon,cassipoiea the boastfull queen, and sword on orions belt.

draco the dragon was supposedly slain by saint george,by the sword, for the queen. it is a cypher to validate a wax seal for ships captains working for the crown. if your ship was hopelessly outnumbered you surrendered and sent the ring back so the crown would pay your ransome.

I have one that seems to have all of these constellations. yours may also. if you see the movie "the kings speech" you will see the throne of saint george. and if you look very close at king george the sixth's fathers hand you will see a gold cygnet/cypher ring.

I believe his left pinky has the ring. I have no idea what the pentagram means or stands for. my ring came from lake erie. according to my friends wife the crown would pay 10,000 pounds british sterling as ransome to get the captain returned.

if what she says is true these rings are extremely rare and very historical.

the pentagram makings are a EARLY FORM OF KABALIC TALISMAN ( protective markings meant to ward off evil and protect ones self)- NOTE THE "mixed symbolism" OF THE CHRISTAN CROSS ON GOTHA MOUND IN THE CENTER WITH THE JEWISH "hebrew" LETTERS ALONG THE OUTSIDE ---quite INTERESTING AND ODD
