Old stage roads?

Anyone know where I can get a map of them in western nc and where to see reports of stage coaches being robbed?

I would work at the stage coach stops, I found one in franklinville and it was a good day metal detecting, I have some maps of try catalog.loc.gov I found alot of good info there.

I would be interested in any old maps of western NC. I'm from Boone and am headed up there next week.
