Found this old watch today, not to impressive but the face appears to be brass with an ornate ingraving that doesn't show up in the pics, a really nice design in the center. It's about the size of a quarter. Ever see one like this?? Rich.

hard to tell from what is left of the movement. As stated if you could get the name off the front you might get an id. Back looks to far gone to get such from there. It appears to be a lever escapement form which is the later more common version. Turn of the century froward I suspect. 1900+.

I've never seen one exactly like that, but you've got the ID right-- its definitely part of a watch.
