There’s almost no way to make it functional. Especially if it was used in salt water. Everything would need to be re soldered and there’s little chance any of those components would work ever even if taken apart and put pack together. Even still it’s probably worth more than 40$ it would be funny to put in modern electronics and a brushless motor tho.

Agreed. getting those tubes powered up you would need a real amateur radio operator from back in the day. There's some high voltage going on and sure some odd battery voltages. New motor, servos new radio would be faster .

By all means if you think it's a project you're up for, go back and get it, I would make them a offer for less than the asking price.
