Oldest silver of the year for me

Hey guys!

I had a bit of daylight left after I finished a group project. I went to my usual spot where the finds are thinning out, but not completely out.

I hit a spot Ive worked in the past, but decided to go at it again. Needless to say, it paid off!

I found a 1916 merc that came out of the ground pretty clean. I freaked myself out a bit and immediately looked for the D mint Mark. Unfortunately, it’s a plain. Still not complaining though. Great way to end the month of April!

I was ready to give up on that place after getting skunked again. Now I gotta pull another 6hr shift there. thanks alot. Serious though thats a nice merc. A 1916 will definitely make your heart skip a beat.

Congrats on your oldest silver for the year. A 1916 will get your heart pumping. I have found 5 of them, and not a one had the D on it. I will periodically check them, just to see if the D decides to show up !
