The rocks around here do not sit upright
...triangular or pyramid shaped were used one at a time spread out around perimeter of campsite to ward off evil spirits....Ive seen a lot of cliffs and overhangs where they would sleep or live but I honestly have not seen Indian
dwellings with such architecture
...the door is secure and archway is beautiful....the triangular spikes go across the top like a porcupine....
It may be a burial/religious site. Someone took a lot of time and effort to build it that’s for sure.

it almost looks like the whole thing has a stacked stone arched roof. Maybe dug out underneath.

Not on the desktop, so I will ask.
Isn't there topographical maps that show fault lines?
This looks like a fault line.
The end was opened to expose the void that was created naturally.
What a perfect snake den.

I agree with pepperj! I would definitely carry a .22 pistol with some rat shot in there, it looks like a great place for a rattle snake den.

Perhaps the large flat rock covered the opening... looks like sharp edge on left side of flat stone.

Which if in fact is the case....It was strategically hidden.

Perhaps some gold veins await.

SuperSuper cool man🤘
What's the odometer read-ish?
Thanks! ...around 33K, IIRC.

I had another bike (Kawasaki KLR650) to ride to work, etc., so I was able to keep the mileage fairly low. I haven't had it on the road in three or four seasons. I need to re-do some carb work on it (wasn't designed for ethanol-laced gasoline and had some issues; already had to replace the original carbs) and get it out next season. I love it dearly. :love10:
