Went to the fields again yesterday to try my luck again. Hunted for about 2 hours when I got the call from the wife saying the kids were up from their nap. That's when it's time to go. Seems like every time she calls is when I find my best piece(s) for the day. Yesterday was no exception. No sooner had I hung up the phone than I got a solid 12-34 reading on the E-trac. Dug down about 5 inches and there was this nice 1900 Indian penny. Made the 1/4 mile hike across the field without finding much else, but there right outside my drivers door was a sweet 12-45. Almost always a silver dime in that field. Dug the 4 inches down in the dirt and there it was...a 1934 Mercury dime! I think from now on I'm going to have her call me as soon as I get out there.
