Went to the fields again yesterday to try my luck again. Hunted for about 2 hours when I got the call from the wife saying the kids were up from their nap. That's when it's time to go. Seems like every time she calls is when I find my best piece(s) for the day. Yesterday was no exception. No sooner had I hung up the phone than I got a solid 12-34 reading on the E-trac. Dug down about 5 inches and there was this nice 1900 Indian penny. Made the 1/4 mile hike across the field without finding much else, but there right outside my drivers door was a sweet 12-45. Almost always a silver dime in that field. Dug the 4 inches down in the dirt and there it was...a 1934 Mercury dime! I think from now on I'm going to have her call me as soon as I get out there. :tongue3:

Happy Hunting!

Sweet :) nice pics as well ;)

Don't you just love how that happens!

don't turn it off till you are at the car!! congrats

Very nice, congrats on finding silver today Nate! :notworthy:

My daughter is 9 years old and I'm still only able to get in 3hrs on a Sunday before I get 'the call'
from my wife . . . "time to come home now"! :laughing7:

Wives can be so helpful :icon_thumright:

I would have her call every five minutes. :laughing9: Nice finds

I would just get to my starting point and work my way back to my truck, wonder if that would work :laughing7: Congrats on the finds, nice sliver and good looking IH .

Thanks for all the positive responses! I'm definitely considering having her call every 5 minutes. My silver count would skyrocket! Or maybe I'll try the "get to my starting point and just walk back to the car" method.

Threshold, the pics were taken with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i DSLR camera in Macro mode. It's able to get real nice close up shots. I love it!
